Barb Novinska

Hello Everyone!

My name is Barb Novinska and I couldn’t be more excited to be the St. Stephen’s Catholic School Administration Assistant & Learning Coordinator.  I live in Andover with my husband Tod, and we have two boys, Blake and Jack. Both boys attended St. Stephens (years ago).

My years of experience in the AH School District began at Sandburg Middle School as a Volunteer Coordinator, and later on at Sand Creek Elementary where I stayed for nine years. Recruitment, training, and supervision of over 400+ volunteers, planning events, recognition and so much more! This was a great experience for me. I was able to increase parental involvement and participation, as well as foster relationships with the community. I then joined the office team as an admin, which included front office responsibilities. I gained invaluable experiences working closely with the Anoka Hennepin District offices on transportation and curriculum inventory and overseeing classroom expenditures.

More recently, I was employed by the Coon Rapids Middle School where I worked with student attendance, maintained student records, and worked alongside office support staff. I was also involved with supporting the Assistant Principals with various discipline and truancy issues as well as follow-up reports on these issues.

I feel truly blessed to be at St. Stephen's and if we haven't met, please stop by and introduce yourself.
